Le Ty Nadan Camping Brittany

Ty Nadan Activities

We have been to Ty Nadan in Brittany 5 times and still enjoy it. There is so much to do for the whole family. The kids go off all day while the adults enjoy a Kayak down the river, a horse ride through the forest or just sitting around enjoying wine and cheese with new friends.

Activities

The activities are endless for children of all ages with a kids club for supervised activities. Here are a few of our favourites:

  1. Zip Wire – 32o metres long covering huge distance through the forest and over the river.
  2. Horse riding and pony fun days for the children.
  3. Segway.
  4. Paint balling
  5. Kayaking for all abilities

There are lots of other activities you can check out on the website.

Sights and cities

Between activities we head for the beach 20 minutes from the campsite.

Les Roches Du Diable is one of our favourite spots for a picnic and a swim in the crystal clear river.

Quimperlé is the nearest town for food shopping with a huge supermarche with everything you need and more. The historic town is also nice for a wander with a few historic sites and cafes.

We like to spend a whole day at Concarneau enjoying the market in the morning, followed by a long lunch then a walk along one of the beaches. It is a lovely town.

Accommodation at Ty Nadan

One our first visit we hired a chalet/mobile home right next to a little stream at the end of a quiet lane.

The second trip we took our very own caravan and pitched up right next to the river.

Ty Nadan are adding new accommodation each year to accommodate everyone including lovely gites.

They now have huge safari tents with decks overlooking the river.

Change of Ownership

Since writing this article the campsite appears to have changed hands. We went when the site was one in the chain of Castels but it is not Iris Park.
